Vertex Oversea is an independent, Canada-based trading house dealing in non-ferrous and ferrous metal scrap. We work both sides of the market: buying scrap from local yards, auto dismantlers and industrial generators across Canada — and supplying furnace-ready material to steel mills, foundries, secondary smelters and recyclers.
Trading since 2024, we're a focused operation rather than a big brokerage. What we bring is discipline: written specifications on every lot, honest photos and weighments, documentation that clears customs without drama, and communication that doesn't go quiet when a shipment hits a problem.
Scrap is traded on trust and margins are made on detail. Our aim is simple — be the counterparty that mills and suppliers come back to, because every deal closed exactly the way it was agreed.
How we operate
No surprises
The spec sheet is the deal. Grade, recovery, moisture and contamination limits are agreed in writing before anything moves.
Skin in the game
We trade as principals, not brokers passing paper. When we commit to a cargo, our own money and name are on it.
Straight answers
If we can't work a grade, a price or a timeline, we say so on the first call — not after three weeks of "checking".
